Privacy policy

This policy explains which data the KINESTA app and the kinesta.app website process. Controller: KINESTA — info@kinesta.app.

1. Professional account

To use the app you sign in with Apple (name and e-mail) and complete your professional profile: name, profession, licence number, organisation, country, phone and e-mail. This data is stored in Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to manage your registration and subscription, and is only accessible to you and the KINESTA team. Legal basis: performance of the contract.

2. Your clients' data

Your clients' names, e-mails, videos, assessments and reports are stored only on your iPhone. KINESTA does not receive them and has no access to them. For this data, you, the professional, are the controller and must obtain your client's consent. Reports are sent from your own e-mail account. Videos are deleted automatically after the period you choose in Settings (30 days by default).

3. Foot assessment and VESTA insoles

If, with your client's consent, you choose "Continue to VESTA insoles", the name, e-mail, 3D foot scan, questionnaire and foot report are sent to VESTA (Vesta Labs, Lda.) to produce the insoles. Nothing is sent without that action.

4. Subscription

Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details, only your subscription status.

5. No advertising, no tracking

The app and the website use no advertising, no third-party analytics and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. The website sets no cookies and fonts are served from our own domain.

6. Retention and deletion

Your profile is kept while you have an account. In Settings › Account you can delete your account: the iCloud record and all data stored in the app are erased. Subscriptions are cancelled in the App Store.

7. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing at info@kinesta.app. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Portugal, CNPD — cnpd.pt).
